The incident, reported on April 2 at around 2:46 p.m., involved a verbal altercation on N Street, Northwest, after which Anthony reportedly brandished a firearm at the victim.
Quick response by the police led to the suspect’s apprehension and the recovery of the handgun, which was identified as stolen from another jurisdiction. Anthony faces multiple charges, including Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (gun), Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Carrying a Pistol without a License, and Receiving Stolen Property.
