D.C. Metro Police Release Video of Suspect in University Police Car Theft

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In an unusual incident in Northwest D.C., the Metro Police Department’s Second District is looking for a suspect who stole a University of the District of Columbia police vehicle. The theft occurred early on Friday morning in the 4200 block of Connecticut Avenue.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:45 am. The suspect managed to steal the police vehicle from the university campus. Fortunately, the vehicle has since been recovered.

Police have released surveillance footage of the footage showing the suspect.
