D.C. Police Appeal for Info on Suspect Involved in Unwanted Sexual Contact Case

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C., Metro Police Detectives are asking for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a Misdemeanor Sexual Abuse offense that occurred on May 24th at the 3900 block of South Capitol Street in Southeast.

Just before 6 pm, The suspect committed an act of unwanted sexual contact with the victim at the specified location. The suspect then fled the scene.

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect. If you have any information about this incident, please take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The incident remains under investigation.
