D.C. Police Arrest Armed Carjacker

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department have made an arrest in the Armed Carjacking that took place on April 27th. This incident happened on S and 29th Street in Southeast D.C.

According to investigators, “At approximately 1:30 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s vehicle. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene. The suspect was later apprehended by Sixth District officers.”

22 year-old Rodney Wayne Allen, of Southeast, DC, was arrested on April 27th and charged with Armed Carjacking.
