WASHINGTON, DC – Police are looking for a man accused of stealing a dog after refusing to return it to its owner in Southeast Washington.
The incident occurred in the 3800 block of 9th Street, Southeast, around 6 p.m. Sunday. The suspect was entrusted with the dog by the victim, who, upon return, was coerced to pay for the dog’s release.
The dog, named Rocky Apollo, is a brown Pitbull Terrier Mix.
Authorities have released images of the dog and the suspect.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered by Crime Solvers of Washington, DC, for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
