D.C. Police Capture Footage of Moped Robbery Suspect

WASHINGTON, DC—The D.C. Metro Police Department’s Third District is looking for a suspect in a moped robbery in Northwest. The police are appealing to the public for help identifying the individual responsible for Sunday evening’s incident.

At around 8:00 PM on Sunday, in the 2400 block of 15th Street in Northwest D.C., a victim reported that while he was riding his moped, two suspects attacked him; one pushed him off the vehicle. After forcibly taking the victim’s phone, one suspect fled on the stolen moped.

A nearby surveillance camera captured images of the suspect.
