D.C. Police Investigating Shooting That Left One Injured And Two Dead

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened on Tuesday, March 7th in Southeast, D.C.

Shortly after 7:30 pm, police arrived at the 2700 Block of Bruce Place to investigate a shooting report. Police found two adult men suffering from gunshot wounds. 23-year-old Dana Faulkner was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. There has been no further update on his condition.

Just after this report came in of a shooting, police arrived at the intersection of Wheeler Road and Mississippi Avenue to investigate a report of an unconscious person. Officers discovered a male teen suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital suffering from critical injuries. An initial investigation discovered that the victim was also at the 2700 block of Bruce Place at the time of the shooting.

15-year-old Abful Fuller of D.C. died on Thursday from his injuries.
