D.C. Police Search For Car Involved In Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department’s detectives are actively reaching out to the public, seeking their help in identifying a suspect’s vehicle linked to a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday morning in Northeast D.C.

Shortly after 6 am, the sound of gunshots prompted officers to respond to the 5200 block of Just Street. Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement located an adult female victim who had been shot. The victim was then taken to an area hospital to receive treatment for injuries that were not life-threatening.

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect’s vehicle.
