D.C. Police Searching For Suspects Who Stole $140,000 Worth Of Designer Eyeglasses

WASHINGTON, D.C – Detectives from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department are searching for a group of four thieves that stole designer glasses from Georgetown Opticians at 699 Water Street in Southwest, D.C. Sunday afternoon.

While the store was open shortly after 3 pm, four suspects entered the store. One of the suspects smashed a glass case with a hammer. The suspects then took 80 pairs of Cartier eyeglasses worth over $140,000 and left the scene.
