D.C. Shooting Claims Life of 35-Year-Old Man

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Homicide Branch of the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is actively investigating a fatal shooting in Southeast D.C. that occurred on Monday afternoon, resulting in the death of 35-year-old Rodney Snead from District Heights, MD.

The incident unfolded around 3:09 p.m. in the 4200 block of 4th Street. Police, upon arrival at the scene, discovered Snead with a gunshot wound. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the location.
