WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man was found shot in Southeast D.C. on Thursday night, prompting an investigation by local police.

The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. at the 5100 block of Queens Stroll Place. Responding officers discovered the victim, who was conscious and breathing, and he was transported to the hospital for treatment.
