D.C. Suspect Arrested for Robbery And Assault

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department has made an arrest in a robbery and assault that took place in the early morning hours on Tuesday morning. This incident happened on the 3200 Block of 14th Street in Northwest, D.C. Detectives from the Third District made the arrest.

According to investigators, “At approximately 4:00 am, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects took the victim’s property and then made the victim withdraw money from an ATM. The suspects assaulted the victim and then fled the scene with the victim’s property. One of the suspects was later apprehended.”

39-year-old Mark Branham of Southeast, D.C. was arrested on Tuesday and charged with Robbery (Force and Violence).
