Montgomery County, MD – Steven Michael Blank, 41, of Damascus, was arrested on multiple counts of vandalism and resisting arrest for allegedly damaging two Montgomery County Police cruisers.

Officers from the 5th District responded to a report of vandalism on the 10200 block of Lewis Dr. on Saturday, August 26, around 7:32 p.m. Investigations revealed that Blank was the suspect and had vandalized the police cruisers the day before. On Friday, Blank entered the parking lot where the police cruisers were stationed, exited his vehicle, and broke the passenger mirrors on a Dodge and a Ford police cruiser. He also shattered the front windshield of the Dodge cruiser by throwing a broken mirror at it.

Blank was arrested on August 26 and is currently being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit. This is not Blank’s first encounter with the law for similar offenses; he was previously arrested in 2022 for vandalizing police and civilian vehicles and was released on bond.
