Business burglar caught on camera in Southeast DC as police seek public’s help
WASHINGTON, DC – The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a burglary at a business in Southeast Washington late last month.
The break-in occurred just after midnight on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at an establishment located in the 3900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, SE. Police say the suspect forcibly entered the business at approximately 12:05 a.m., stole cash and other items, and fled the scene.
Surveillance footage from the establishment captured images of the suspect during the incident. Police have released the video in hopes that someone may recognize the individual and come forward with information.
Investigators are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person responsible.
