DC police release photo of burglary suspect who stole jewelry and electronics

Washington, DC – Detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who burglarized a Northeast home last week and made off with jewelry and electronics.

The break-in occurred on Wednesday, September 24, around 2:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Maryland Avenue, Northeast. Investigators say the suspect entered an unoccupied residence, stole property, and fled the scene.

A surveillance camera captured images of the suspect, which police released Sunday as part of their appeal for information.

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for tips that lead to an arrest and indictment. Anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099 or send an anonymous text tip to 50411.
