Dead Body Found at Tinton Falls Recycling Plant

TINTON FALLS, NJ – Authorities confirmed the discovery of an adult male’s body at Mazza Recycling plant on Shafto Road, as reported by Chris Swendeman, spokesperson for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

The body was found on Wednesday, mixed with recyclables in the material recovery facility by a Mazza Recycling employee. The site, which receives collection trucks from various counties, was immediately closed for investigation following the discovery.

Brynn Mosello, representing Mazza Recycling, stated that the plant resumed operations on Thursday.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, in collaboration with the Tinton Falls Police Department, is actively investigating the incident.
