Deadly Baltimore Collision Claims Life of 60-Year-Old Woman

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – A fatal vehicle collision occurred on the 5800 block of Belair Road yesterday at approximately 6:01 p.m., claiming the life of a woman and injuring on man.

Officers arriving at the scene found two vehicles involved in the crash. The 26-year-old male operator of one vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The 60-year-old female operator of the second vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Despite efforts to save her life, she was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The Accident Investigation Unit has taken over the case, and the Medical Examiner’s Office has been notified. Notifications to next-of-kin are pending.
