WYCKOFF, NJ – The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit, together with the Wyckoff Police Department, is investigating a fatal fire that occurred last Sunday.
The incident at 481 Meer Avenue claimed the life of Virginia Ingenito, 79.
After receiving a 911 call around noon, Wyckoff Police discovered Ingenito unresponsive, and she was later pronounced dead. The fire was successfully extinguished by the Wyckoff Fire Department.
Chief Jason Love and Chief David Murphy are leading the investigation.
As of now, further details remain undisclosed as the inquiry proceeds.
