Deadly Shooting Claims Life of 33-Year-Old on West 185th Street

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department responded to a distress call concerning a shooting that occurred at West 185th Street and St Nicholas Avenue on Sunday, at approximately 11:42 pm.

Upon arrival, officers found Christopher Brooks, a 33-year-old male from New York, with a gunshot wound to the torso.

Emergency Medical Services transported Brooks to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and the investigation continues.

While the police work to solve this case, they encourage anyone with relevant information to come forward.
