Deadly shooting claims two lives in Forest Heights neighborhood

FOREST HEIGHTS, Md. — Gunfire broke the evening calm in Forest Heights on Tuesday, leaving two men dead in what police are calling a double homicide.

The shooting happened shortly before 6 p.m. in the 100 block of Seneca Drive, where officers responding to reports of gunshots discovered the two victims. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is being handled jointly by Forest Heights police and Prince George’s County detectives. So far, no motive has been identified, and the names of the victims have not yet been released.

In a statement, Forest Heights police extended condolences to the victims’ families and emphasized their commitment to community safety.
