Deadly Shooting in Bronx Wednesday Night

BRONX, NY — Police responded to a shooting incident in the Bronx that left a 30-year-old man dead. The incident occurred on Wednesday at the intersection of East 187 Street and Beaumont Avenue, under the jurisdiction of the 48th Precinct. Authorities arrived at the scene around 6:32 PM following a 911 call about a person shot.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim with a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency Medical Services transported him to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The identity of the deceased has not been released as the family has yet to be notified. No arrests have been made, and the police investigation continues.
