Deadly Shooting Under Investigation in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY – A 30-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and later pronounced dead at Saint Barnabas Hospital, according to the New York City Police Department.

The incident occurred on Thursday, September 7, at approximately 9:12 p.m. in front of 1955 Sedgwick Avenue, within the boundaries of the 46 Precinct.

Police responded to a 911 call and upon arrival found Angel Rojas, a resident at the reported address, critically injured. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
