Death of Brooklyn Man Ruled Homicide

BROOKLYN, NY – On Monday, June 5, police responded to a call of an assault in progress in front of 159 Starr Street.

The officers, arriving at approximately 5:30 pm, found Carlos Guzman Espinoza, a 54-year-old male, suffering from trauma to the head.

EMS transported Mr. Espinoza to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. He was pronounced deceased on Monday, June 12.

The case has since been classified as a homicide. There have been no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.

The NYPD is actively seeking any information related to this case and asked anyone with relevant details to come forward.
