DeLand, FL – A porch pirate was sited and avast, he was also arrested by the Volusia County Sherrif’s Office. James R. David, 43, was caught plundering this DeLand homeowner’s Amazon booty. It was caught on camera and led to his arrest.
“Now THIS is a confirmed Porch Pirate. Today, our deputies arrested James R. David, 43, of DeLand, for yesterday’s theft of what I believe were Christmas gifts, so I won’t list them here and ruin them for the victim’s family,” the department said. “Our suspect was also arrested on an open felony warrant for violation of probation on previous charges of burglary, grand theft and forgery. Great job deputies and detectives.”
