Delaware Country Club Robbed at Gunpoint

WYOMING, DE – On Monday, the Delaware State Police arrested 40-year-old Jason Knight of Camden, Delaware.

Knight has been implicated in a robbery that took place at the Wild Quail Golf and Country Club in Wyoming on July 21.

At around 11:03 a.m. on the day of the incident, troopers were called to the golf club following reports of an armed robbery.

Investigations led by Troop 3 Robbery Detectives found that an unknown man had demanded cash from an 18-year-old club employee at gunpoint, and had subsequently fled with the victim’s property.

After investigation, Jason Knight was identified as the suspect and was apprehended during a traffic stop. Knight is currently charged with Robbery First Degree, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Kidnapping Second Degree, and Offensive Touching.

He has been committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution with a bond set at $55,500.
