NEWARK, DE – Delaware Governor John Carney is pissed off at New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy after Murphy added Delaware to his “Quarantine List”. That list includes 35 states, nearly 3/4 of the entire country and Carney, like everyone in New Jersey wants Murphy to show him the logic behind his COVID-19 “science”.
Carney said Delaware’s overall COVID-19 impact has been far less severe than the trainwreck of New Jersey, which leads the nation in most COVID-19 categories per-capita.
“We’re back on [The Murphy List] and I’m mad as hell again, that just doesn’t make any sense.” Carney said. “We have asked, time and again, for the formula used to keep us off the list,” Carney said. “All our criteria are better. Hospitalizations? I’d like to compare our hospitalizations to theirs.”
The Delaware Governor also said he has been trying to get through to Governor Murphy to talk about it, but Murphy won’t give him the professional courtesy as a neighboring governor or an audience to discuss the matter.
According to the CDC, Delaware currently has 3.7 people in the hospital per 100,000. New Jersey has 5.3.
Don’t get too upset Governor Carney, nobody in New Jersey knows what he’s doing either.
