Delaware Man Arrested for Stealing Tesla Cybertruck

LINCOLN, DE—Delaware State Police arrested 41-year-old Corey Cohee from Milford, Delaware for allegedly stealing a Tesla Cybertruck from a Lincoln residence. The incident occurred yesterday morning.

Troopers were called to a residence on Brick Granary Road at around 8:10 AM Thursday following a vehicle theft report. They discovered a 2024 silver Tesla Cybertruck with temporary New Jersey registration had been taken. The vehicle was later located on a dirt path off Pinecone Drive, but it fled upon police arrival. After a short chase, the vehicle stopped back on Brick Granary Road, and Cohee was arrested without incident.

Cohee faces multiple charges, including felony theft of a motor vehicle and disregarding a police officer signal. He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 3 and is currently held at Sussex Correctional Institution on a $4,002 secured bond.
