Delaware Natural Resources Police respond to water rescue near Indian River Inlet

INDIAN RIVER INLET, Del. — Delaware Natural Resources Police, in coordination with the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay, responded to a water rescue on Monday after a vessel lost power and was pulled against the rock jetty during an outgoing tide.

The operator of the vessel was successfully rescued, and the boat was recovered with minimal damage. Authorities did not report any injuries during the incident.
