Delaware State Police Investigate Robbery at Wilmington Shell Gas Station

WILMINGTON, DE – Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on Thursday, at a Shell gas station in Wilmington.

At approximately 4:44 p.m., troopers responded to the station on Kennett Pike following a robbery report.

An unidentified male suspect, described as light-skinned and dressed in dark clothing, threatened an employee, implying possession of a concealed gun, and demanded vape/tobacco products.

The suspect then fled northwest on foot with the stolen items. A K9 unit later found the vape products, but the suspect remains at large.

The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit is actively investigating this incident. They encourage anyone with information to contact Detective D. Armstrong or Delaware Crime Stoppers.
