Delaware State Police Investigate Shooting in Royal Farms Parking Lot

Wilmington, DE – The Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday morning in a Royal Farms parking lot.

On June 9, 2024, at approximately 11:17 a.m., troopers responded to the Royal Farms at 1031 South Market Street for a report of a shooting. Shortly after, a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound arrived at a nearby hospital. Preliminary investigations revealed the victim was in the Royal Farms parking lot when an unknown suspect shot him. He was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle and remains in stable condition.

There is currently no suspect information or available surveillance footage.
