Delaware State Police Probe Shooting Incident in Rehoboth Beach

Delaware State Police are actively investigating a shooting incident that targeted a residential property in Rehoboth Beach, resulting in property damage but no injuries.

In the early hours of February 15, 2024, around 12:50 a.m., authorities were alerted to gunfire in the 19000 block of Norwood Street. Upon arrival, troopers found evidence of multiple gunshots that had damaged both the residence and several vehicles parked at the location. At the time of the incident, four adults were inside the home but fortunately, none were harmed.

The investigation, led by Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Detectives, is ongoing as law enforcement seeks to understand the motive behind the attack and identify any suspects involved. Currently, there is no available description of the suspect(s).
