EAST HAVEN, Conn. — A lucky Hamden resident claimed a $25,000 top prize on the Connecticut Lottery’s Pinball Wizard scratch-off, lottery officials confirmed Tuesday.
The winning ticket was purchased at A&N Deli on Main Street in East Haven, delivering a major payout for a $5 game.
Pinball Wizard offers several top prizes, with odds and remaining prize details available through the Connecticut Lottery.
The winner’s identity has not been publicly released, but officials reminded all prize claimants to sign the back of their tickets and follow the proper procedures.
The retailer, A&N Deli, will receive a bonus for selling the winning ticket.
