Desperate Life-Saving Measures Administered After Shooting in Baltimore

Baltimore, MD – A shooting incident in the Western District has left a young man injured, prompting an urgent investigation.

On October 12, 2024, at approximately 5:26 p.m., officers reported hearing gunfire near the 1700 block of North Calhoun Street. While en route to the scene, officers encountered a 24-year-old male victim on North Mount Street, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Life-saving measures were administered until medics arrived, and the victim was subsequently transported to an area hospital for further treatment.
