Detectives Investigate Suspicious Death of Young Woman in Towson

Towson, MD – In the early morning of February 16, officers were dispatched to a concerning scene in Towson, where they discovered an unresponsive young woman, later identified as 23-year-old Kenya Brown. Following the arrival of officers at the scene located at the rear of the 7200 block of Dogwood Rd., Brown was pronounced dead by a Baltimore County Paramedic.

The incident, initially approached as a suspicious death, has prompted an intensive investigation by the Baltimore County Homicide detectives. The detectives are now leading the inquiry into the circumstances of Brown’s death, awaiting results from an autopsy to be conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to ascertain the cause of death.
