CANTON, OH – Twitter (or X) is a crazy place. Sometimes what gets shared on X is too crazy and far out there to believe, but a video making rounds this week shows police arresting a woman who appeared to have killed and eaten a cat.

A Canton woman was arrested and charged with multiple offenses after authorities allege she killed and ate a cat on Friday, August 16th. The incident was handled by the Stark County Sheriff’s Department.
Allexis Ferrell, 27, was taken into custody on Friday and faces charges of prohibitions concerning companion animals, injuring animals, and disorderly conduct, according to jail records.
The criminal complaint alleges that Ferrell killed the cat by stomping on its head and then consuming it. The incident reportedly took place at a housing complex located in the 1100 block of 13th Street SE in Canton.
Ferrell was booked into the Stark County Jail.
