District Heights store sells first $50K winning ticket in new FAST PLAY game

District Heights, MD – A Maryland Lottery player picked up the very first top progressive prize in the new FAST PLAY Cash Combination game, landing $50,499 on a ticket sold in Prince George’s County.

The winning $5 ticket was purchased September 8 at J. B. Liquors, located at 5842 Silver Hill Road in District Heights. For selling the prize-winning ticket, the store will receive a $504.99 bonus.

FAST PLAY Cash Combination launched August 22 with 15 progressive jackpot prizes starting at $30,000. Each ticket sold increases the jackpot until a player hits. Lower-tier prizes in the game range from $5 to $5,000.

The winner has 182 days from the date of purchase to claim the prize at Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore. Prizes above $25,000 must be claimed in person by appointment or through the mail.

This marks the first time the Cash Combination jackpot has been hit since the game’s release, leaving 14 top prizes still available.
