Do You Know Her? NYPD Seeking Jewelry Thief in Queens

NEW YORK, NY – A 65-year-old woman fell victim to a deceptive necklace theft on Tuesday, October 17, near 64th Street and 43rd Avenue. The New York City Police Department is seeking information on the incident.

At approximately 3:55 p.m., the victim was standing in front of a residence when an unknown individual approached her. The individual removed the victim’s gold necklace by deception before fleeing the scene. The suspect then entered a vehicle, driven by a second unknown individual and headed northbound on 64 Street. The victim was not physically harmed.

The first individual is described as a female, approximately 5’5″ tall, with a light complexion and medium build. She wore a blue headscarf, navy blue t-shirt, and black skirt at the time of the incident. The second individual’s description remains unknown.

The vehicle involved is a white Chevy Equinox four-door SUV.
