Do You Know Him? Newark Police Seek Armed Burglary Suspect

NEWARK, NJ – The Newark Public Safety Department, led by Director Fritz G. Fragé, is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a recent business burglary. The incident occurred early Monday morning at the Wilson Mini Mart on Wilson Avenue.

At around 1:35 a.m. on May 13, police were called to the scene where they discovered that the store’s front door had been shattered with a rock. The suspect then entered the store and stole numerous cigarette boxes from behind the register.

Detectives have described the suspect as a male dressed in a white hooded sweatshirt and white pants. The public’s assistance is crucial in apprehending the individual responsible for this crime.
