NEWARK, NJ – The Newark Public Safety Department is appealing for public assistance in identifying an individual suspected of burglarizing a vehicle on Monday. The incident, caught on surveillance footage, took place around 8:30 p.m. in the 80 block of Shipman St.
The suspect is seen in the video removing a purse from the front seat of an unlocked car.
Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward and assist the police in their ongoing investigations.
