Domestic Assault Suspect Hid In Attic When the Cops Showed Up

ENOLA, PA – Donovan Ward of Enola was arrested on September 8, following a domestic incident on the 1400 block of 3rd Street.

Officers from the East Pennsboro Police were dispatched to the scene at approximately 4:22 PM.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who reported being assaulted. Ward fled into the attic area of the residence but was later taken into custody with the assistance of Harrisburg City Police K-9.

Ward was transported to Cumberland County Prison for processing and arraignment. He faces charges of strangulation, simple assault, and harassment. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled before MDJ Sanderson.

The East Pennsboro Police are conducting the investigation and encourage anyone with further information to contact them.
