Domestic Dispute Ends in Deadly Stabbing

COLUMBIA, PA – In the late hours of Monday, Columbia Police patrol officers were summoned to an address in the 200 block of North Third Street.

Upon arrival, they found 19-year-old Anthony Serrano JR with a fatal stab wound.

The 911 caller, 17-year-old Janiyah Torres, was present at the scene.

Investigations revealed that prior to the stabbing, Serrano JR and Torres were involved in a domestic altercation, during which Torres inflicted the fatal injury.

Torres, charged with two counts of Criminal Homicide, was apprehended without incident and is currently awaiting further legal proceedings. Individuals with more information are asked to reach out to the Columbia Police.
