Domestic Dispute Leads to Assault and Arrest in Chambersburg

CHAMBERSBURG, PA – A domestic dispute escalated to physical violence in Chambersburg, as reported by the Chambersburg Police on Saturday.

At around 1:30 am, officers responded to a situation in the 700 block of Broad Street.

Investigations revealed that William Butler had assaulted another individual during the dispute.

The victim suffered substantial swelling to the chin after being punched and was also choked by Butler. The severity of the altercation necessitated police intervention and resulted in Butler’s arrest.

Following the incident, William Butler was taken into custody and transported to the Franklin County Jail.
