Dorchester Resident Arrested on Firearm and Drug Charges in Jamaica Plain

BOSTON, MA – On Wednesday, at around 10:30 AM, officers from the City-Wide Drug Control Unit and Drug Control Unit of District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) arrested Trang Duong, a 52-year-old from Dorchester.

The arrest follows an ongoing drug investigation, culminating in the execution of search warrants at 8 Ellsworth Street.

The search led to the recovery of a F.lli Pietta firearm, 110 rounds of 9mm ammunition, approximately 65 grams of Fentanyl, 8 grams of Crack Cocaine, and about $10,960 in US currency.

Duong faces charges including unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, trafficking of class A drugs, and possession with intent to distribute class A and B drugs.

She is slated for arraignment in Roxbury District Court.
