Double Shooting at Luxury Building in Crown Heights

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY – A man and a woman were injured in a shooting incident at a luxury rental building on President Street by Rogers Avenue, near the Arch building, on Monday just after 8 a.m.

The female victim, 26, was shot in the foot, while the male victim, 30, sustained gunshot wounds to the foot and eye. Both are now in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.

Details surrounding the cause of the shooting remain unclear. Residents, who generally feel safe given the building’s usual doorman presence, expressed shock and reported receiving no alerts from management about the incident.

The suspect, a 28-year-old male dressed in a yellow sweatshirt, fled the scene post-incident.

Police speculate a possible love triangle as the motive and are currently seeking the ex-boyfriend for questioning.
