Double Shooting Following Attempted Burglary in Dundalk Under Investigation

TOWSON, MD – The Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a double shooting incident that occurred in Dundalk.

The incident unfolded around 4:25 a.m. on Thursday, when officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 4200 block of Lynhurst Rd., 21222.

Initial findings suggest the incident was a result of an attempted burglary.

Two male suspects, attempting to access a homeowner’s shed, were confronted and subsequently shot after one displayed a firearm.

Both suspects were transported to a hospital for treatment. While charges are pending against the suspects, the Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office has decided not to pursue charges against the homeowner.
