Double Shooting In D.C. Injures Two Teens

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Two minors were injured in a shooting incident in Southeast D.C. on Thursday evening, according to the Metro Police Department.

The shooting occurred near the intersection of 16th and W streets. Both victims are male minors who were conscious and breathing following the incident.

As of 8 p.m., the police had not identified any suspects. The public is advised not to intervene directly and to report any relevant information to the authorities at (202) 727-9099. Tips can also be sent via text to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
