Double Shooting Leaves One Dead

WASHINGTON, DC – A shooting in the early hours of November 2 has led to the death of one of two men injured in the incident, as reported by Fourth District officers.

The event unfolded at around 2:08 a.m. on the 3400 block of 14th Street, Northwest. Officers arriving at the scene found two men with gunshot wounds. Both were swiftly transported to local hospitals for treatment.

Tragically, on November 4, one of the victims, 29-year-old Johansel Encarnacion from Northeast, DC, died as a result of his injuries.

The investigation is active, with detectives seeking leads and asking for public assistance to ascertain the full sequence of events and to identify those responsible. As of now, the Metropolitan Police Department has not disclosed any information about suspects or arrests made in connection with the shooting.
