Double Shooting in South Philadelphia Leaves One Dead, One Injured

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating a double shooting that occurred in the Queen Village neighborhood at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Officials report that Kyier Ladson, 19, was shot multiple times and later pronounced dead at Jefferson University Hospital.

Another 19-year-old was also injured and is currently listed in stable condition at Pennsylvania Hospital.

Investigators believe at least one of the victims may have been the intended target. No arrests have been made, and no weapons have been recovered.

The Philadelphia Police are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward, as the investigation is ongoing.
