Dover Man Arrested for Burglary and Carrying Concealed Deadly Weapon

DOVER, DE – The Delaware State Police arrested Bradley Shores, 33, of Dover, Delaware, for burglarizing a residence on Tuesday. Troopers responded to a report of a residential burglary in the 100 block of President Drive.

The homeowner discovered the lock to the back door had been damaged, and upon entering, Shores fled the scene and entered a nearby house.

Troopers apprehended Shores, who was carrying a concealed fixed blade knife at the time of his arrest.

Shores faces charges of burglary second degree, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, attempted theft under $1,500, and criminal mischief. He was released on a $7,500 unsecured bond but was later committed to Sussex Correctional Institution for a probation violation.
