Drive-by Shooting Incident Leaves One Injured in the Bronx

BRONX, NY – An incident occurred on Sunday, around 3:00 pm, when an unidentified individual discharged multiple shots towards a crowd at 149 Street and Jackson Avenue. Although no one in the crowd was hit, a 44-year-old male inside his apartment nearby was struck once in the back.

Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.

The shooter fled south on Concord Avenue on foot.

The suspect is described as a slim male with a dark complexion, around 5’10” to 6′ tall, last seen wearing a black balaclava, black hoodie, dark pants, and black sneakers.
